Carved & Etched glass

Carving on glass is an unique fabrication method that produces a distinctive 3D appearance on glass while maintaining its clarity. Carved glass can be fabricated by hand with sandblasting/etching technique or by modern computer controlled carving machines. It involves a combination of different air pressure and amount of abrasive in the mixture. At Tecture Glass, we are proud to provide both kinds of carved glass. Our carved glass gives extra depth to many designs, creating a combination of polished and etched areas. 

 

Advanced features:

• Multiple pattern designs, from flora to geometric or even a piece of art work can be cfrated on the glass surface
• Carve into the glass surface giving multiple depths to the segment of the design, creates a drastic 3D visual look
• Can be laminated with different materials, from fabric, metal mesh to back colored mirrors, cater for different design needs
• Durable and Highly scratch resistant

 

Specifications:

Thickness: for monolithic panels, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 19mm,  the thicker the glass is, the better the 3D visual look will be, lamination is available.

Max Size: can be up to 1500*3000mm
